Voicephere

Privacy Policy

Your melodies are personal. Voicephere is built so they stay yours.

Effective October 6, 2026

Who we are

Voicephere is made by Yu-Jen Chen, an independent developer. You don't need an account to use the app. For any privacy question, email support@yozen.dev.

What we collect

We don't collect personal data. Voicephere has no analytics, no advertising and no tracking, and it contains no third-party data-collection code. We never receive your recordings, your ideas or your settings.

Your recordings stay on your device

The microphone is used only while you are recording. Your takes, the chords and your settings are stored on your device, and the analysis and accompaniment are created on your device. Nothing is sent to us.

iCloud sync

If you turn on iCloud sync, your ideas and recordings are stored in your private iCloud database, operated by Apple under your Apple Account. Only you can access them; we cannot. You can turn sync off at any time in Voicephere's Settings. Apple's handling of iCloud data is described in Apple's privacy policy.

Subscriptions and payments

Subscriptions are purchased and managed through the App Store. Apple processes the payment; we receive no payment details and no name or email address. The app checks with Apple whether your subscription is active.

Sharing

When you share a demo, it goes only where you choose, using iOS sharing.

This website

This website uses no cookies, analytics or trackers. Like any website, our hosting provider processes technical information such as your IP address in order to deliver the pages and keep the service secure.

Children

Voicephere does not collect personal data from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and its effective date.
